South City Residential Quarter, Bratislava, Slovakia

South City is a new micro-quarter on the outskirts of the city. The proposal integrates the site into a diverse setting while creating a self-contained residential quarter. Generously designed public spaces define a new character identity and future brand of the locality. The arrangement of high density residential tower blocks allows for maximizing of external spaces and unobstructed panoramic views from the apartments. The concept draws on the housing typology of the surrounding urban grain linking to large scale scenic landscape structure.
