International Competition Florenc, Prague - Shortlist Second Stage

Team Marko&Placemakers + UNIT Architekti + A69 Architekti has been selected onto a shortlist of 5 teams in the international competition to re-vision Florenc, a 24ha regeneration area in close contact with Prague’s historic city centre. The site with significant potential beyond the borders of the city is home to Prague’s central bus station and represents one of the most complex urban challenges of the current decade.

The open international competition organised by the City of Prague, IPR Prague, Masaryk Station Development and ČSAD Praha Holding attracted 57 entries from all over the world. The winner of the competition will be commissioned to develop the vision into a masterplan and design code, which will serve as a basis for proposed changes of Prague’s Zoning Plan.
